Introduction of Yuzhu Peak
Yuzhu Peak locates at the cross place between Golmud River and Kunlun Pass, also called Kekesejimen Peak. With height of 6178.8 meters, it belongs to Kunlun Mountain at 94.2 E and at 35.6 N.
The annual average temperature in the area of Yuzhu Peak is -5 degree (minus), the minimum temperature can reach -30 degree (minus), the maximum wind power can reach 10 gale, sometimes even 12 gale. The routes of the south slope of the mountain in ice and snow, BC (head quarter) is arranged on the height of 5010 meters, C1 located at an altitude of 5600 meters, is always an ideal mountain to climb for the ambitious climbing mountaineers.
